Public website analytics
Optional analytics only start after you choose to allow them. When enabled, PostHog EU receives public page visits and a small set of interactions, such as opening a source or choosing to apply for membership. Search text, email addresses and form contents are excluded. We do not connect your membership identity to these analytics.
Masked recordings and heatmaps
These require a separate choice. They help us understand interactions on public content pages. Text and inputs are masked; forms, account pages, private member workspaces and admin pages are excluded. Recordings are reconstructions of the page, not videos from your camera. Provider retention and collection caps apply, and collection can be paused.
You can change your choice using “Privacy choices” at the bottom of the page. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from using the website. Your choice is stored in your browser so we can respect it.
Email updates
Subscribing is separate from membership. We store your email, confirmation state and the consent wording/date. A confirmation email verifies your request before you become subscribed. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. We use Brevo for delivery when connected. We do not add members or story contributors automatically.
Membership and teacher stories
Membership privacy information describes the private workspace. Teacher submissions use separate publication consent and review. Private contact details and original submissions are never added to public page metadata or search feeds.
Essential services
Authentication, abuse prevention and hosting may process technical information required to operate and secure the site. Optional tracking preferences do not disable these functions. Contact us if you want to understand or exercise your data rights.
