Scottish Teachers for Permanence is a teacher-led campaign for stable contracts, predictable work and secure incomes for teachers across Scotland.
Our name reflects where the campaign began. We recognised early on that permanence would not be achievable for everyone. We work for stability across teaching contracts, including temporary and supply work, so teachers can plan their lives and schools can provide continuity for pupils.
We use freedom of information research, speak to the media and discuss teacher employment with political decision-makers.
