MORE than 90 teachers in Renfrewshire’s schools are stuck on temporary contracts, according to new figures.

Freedom of Information figures showed 92 Renfrewshire teachers on temporary contracts (59 primary, 33 secondary), out of 4,951 across Scotland on 1 June 2023. East Renfrewshire did not supply figures. Liam Kerr called for more full-time posts.
