Highland schools spend more than £9 million on supply teaching staff
FOI figures showed Highland spent £2.7m on supply teachers in 2018-19, up 41% from £1.9m in 2015-16, with 17 secondary and 13 primary vacancies at end of January 2020; vacancies and absences were cited.
