I left a well paid job as a chartered accountant to pursue a career in teaching. I worked hard for my PGDE then was allocated my 5th council and from that point I felt completely unsupported by teaching as a whole.

It’s a ‘job for the boys’ system of who you know & not what you know with many roles advertised on Facebook. You can’t get a job locally as you are not known due to the computer allocating you elsewhere. The whole system is run in a very unprofessional manner.
