During census period, [the council] routinely employ a large number of additional supply staff.

When I finished 2 years of fixed term contracts in July 2024, I asked if I could be considered for permanency. They said they would need to check if I was eligible and, given there was no permanent jobs on offer, I would be added to a list who would be asked to apply for permanent jobs if/when they became available. I have yet to be told if I am eligible or offered an opportunity to apply.
