GCC cancel your login and printing access meaning you cannot do your job properly. They also don’t approve your CPD as you are a supply teacher. I wanted to use the days without work improving my skills but was denied this opportunity.
Supply teachers have no support network or opportunities for peer learning. People do not talk to you in schools because you are only there for a day or two. You are on your own ‘winging it’ a lot of the time. All of this adds to the stress of the job and to the worry about security.
