My concern is the children! I interviewed in April before the Easter holidays. I was told [the evening before] that I was to start [the next day; dates removed] in a school I didn’t know. I got given a stage I have never taught and no support from SLT.

It has been shocking. The strain on my MH has been immense. I had no grasp on the children I was going to be teaching and this has had a huge impact on them over the first few weeks. I think [it] is a disgrace that it takes a L.A nearly 5 months to recruit and place teachers.
