I have been fairly lucky with the supply work I have received. Mostly long term in the last 2 years. However, the not knowing over summer breaks causes my mental wellbeing to dip. I also work during school breaks in a play-based setting to get me by.
Even having long-term supply, my brain is not fully in the job because I’m feeling uncertain for my future and can’t give my all to the job. I can’t relax.
