Councils need to read their applications to a higher standard and work off the ‘scoring’ system fairly.

I received 23/25 for my interview one year and was given supply. Someone else got 12/25 but because they worked the 2 years and a day got a permanent contract.

I applied for a part time position last year and was emailed and offered a fixed term post, however no details to hours, placement or starting date were attached. When questioned about the part time status I was told ‘oh no, it’s a full time position, we will need to take back the offer’ which left me without work for a year.
