As a recently qualified teacher – going to job interviews, feedback received for not being the preferred candidate is always – not enough experience or the other candidates have more experience. This just suggests that obtaining a job in the primary sector is near impossible as so many people are still seeking.
I currently have employment in a secondary school teaching BGE in a subject I have no speciality within; while this is experience and employment this is not where I’d have hoped to be and does not allow me to develop my primary teaching skills.
