I’ve been very lucky to have 2 fixed term posts since my probation year however it’s still the dread and anxiety when June comes around and not knowing. In the year 25-26 the council hadn’t even told my HT if I could stay or not yet. It’s an unfair system where teachers are overlooked and disregarded.
